PUTTSHACK DOUBLES DOWN ON OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE, APPOINTS INDUSTRY VET AS VP OF OPERATIONS
Nowicki brings more than 25 years of experience
Puttshack, the world’s first and only upscale, tech-infused mini golf experience, today announced the appointment of Ryan Nowicki as Vice President of Operations. This appointment underscores Puttshack’s commitment to maintaining operational excellence across its venues – with a focus on sustainable growth and best-in-class hospitality.
At Puttshack, Ryan will lead the operations and event sales teams to deliver exceptional guest and associate experiences across all venues. He will report to Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Operating Officer Susan Walmesley.
“Ryan’s deep experience in the competitive socializing space will allow us to further strengthen and streamline our operations and expand our concept to new cities around the country,” said Logan Powell, Puttshack CEO. “We are thrilled to have Ryan join Puttshack, and I’m confident that he will be an invaluable addition to our team as we continue to build Puttshack into the global leader in experiential dining.”
Mr. Nowicki brings more than 25 years of industry experience to his new role. Before joining Puttshack, Mr. Nowicki held sales and operations positions at Dave & Buster’s, most recently as the brand’s Senior Director of Operations Excellence. He also previously served as the National Director of Sales at Topgolf.
“I’ve watched Puttshack’s rapid evolution in the last few years, and have repeatedly been impressed by the company’s leadership team,” said Mr. Nowicki. “I am energized by what I’ve seen the team do so far, and I look forward to further enhancing our venues and empowering our associates to deliver the unmatched and extraordinary experience that guests are looking for at Puttshack.”
With Mr. Nowicki’s appointment, Puttshack continues to further strengthen its leadership team. This past June, former Chief Financial Officer Logan Powell was appointed Chief Executive Officer. In January, Susan Walmesley assumed the title of Chief Operating Officer in addition to her continued role as Chief Marketing Officer.
Puttshack continues to execute against its long-term growth strategy, bringing its unique concept of tech-led mini golf combined with an upscale food and beverage menu to cities across the country. Puttshack’s differentiated experience goes beyond a typical game of mini golf with its proprietary Trackaball™ technology. Puttshack recently unveiled its latest innovation, the Challenge Hole, which leverages cloud-based advancements to create a unique and competitive gamified mini golf experience. As part of the company’s growth strategy, Puttshack will continue to innovate on the game technology and guest experience.
